Zaxby's
Zaxby's licensees own and operate almost 80 percent of Zaxby's restaurants in states throughout the Southeast.
As the Zaxby's system expands, Zaxby's Franchising, Inc., actively seeks qualified, motivated individuals to become licensees. Zaxby's is actively seeking both single-unit operators as well as prospective licensees with the experience, capability and financial resources to operate multiple units (8 to 12) within three years.
Previous restaurant experience is ideal, but is not required. Prior business experience, financial qualifications, demonstrated interest and a track record of personal success are also important factors in our evaluation process.
Prospective licensees will need a collective net worth greater than $400,000, non-borrowed liquid assets greater than $200,000, and satisfactory credit ratings. The one-time franchise fee is $35,000 per unit.
All Zaxby's locations are free-standing, full-service restaurants that provide in-store seating. The average restaurant is 3,300 to 3,800 square feet and requires a minimum of one commercial acre.
Key site selection cues include suburban or rural locations with excellent visibility and access, as well as strong residential and daytime populations driven by either office, retail or university environments.
Currently, Zaxby's Franchising, Inc., is expanding in markets throughout Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Market areas in Texas will be available in the near future; however, availability is subject to change at any time.
