Training and support is an ongoing process at CruiseOne. Each new franchise owner attends a comprehensive 8 day training program at our corporate headquarters in Florida. During the course of this training, franchisees learn sales and marketing programs, closing techniques, office administration and how to operate the CruiseOne reservation system. Each class is taught by experienced CruiseOne staff. We arrange ship inspections in Miami and Fort Lauderdale to allow franchisees to view several contemporary cruise ships. In addition, each breakfast and lunch event is a learning experience with sales executives from our major cruise line partners presenting their products and sales techniques. The cost of initial training is included in the franchise fee.
Initial training is just the start. Once a new franchise returns home, they are assigned a mentor from our Member Services and Customer Care departments. These staff members assist new members in getting their new business started and guide them in each process.
Also, each year CruiseOne conducts several optional Seminars at Sea, regional meetings, online training courses and our signature National Conference is held each fall. Our training programs are regarded by cruise industry executives as a serious and well managed effort and a large contributor to our upward sales track every year. Each training module is conducted by experienced senior management staff.
